Dog Walking – Security and Safety
For your peace of Mind
For dogs that require doggy day-care, my home offers plenty of downstairs space for visiting dogs and we have the security of a large secure walled garden with plenty of lawn.
I have recently completed a Diploma in Dog Walking and Pet Home Sitting which has enabled me to have a better understanding and knowledge of dog walking/pet care services, including dog first aid.
Unfortunately, everyone working in the animal service will come across a situation where it can be incredibly useful to have some knowledge about animal first aid, I always carry some emergency animal first aid supplies on all my walks and have a full kit in my car including all pet and veterinary details of the dogs in my care.
No more than three dogs will be walked at any one time and I consider all the dogs behaviour and personalities when choosing which ones to socialise them with.
To ensure safety of the transportation of your pet I use a Land Rover defender fitted with spacious cages for all dog sizes.
I have been DBS checked (Disclosure and Barring Services) formerly known as CRB(Criminal Records Bureau).
Key security – any keys will be kept in a secure location with no identification on them, if for any reason the keys are lost or stolen I will contact you immediately.
Slip collar dog leads – I use these for all dogs safety to prevent collars or leads from failing.
